Experimental research in rotational dynamics

Poinsot Dynamics explores rotational motion through experimental research and engineering development. FLY-BALL brings this focus to the study of rotating systems, connecting physical investigation with the development of new ideas and intellectual property.

WHY POINSOT?

Louis Poinsot (1777–1859) was a French mathematician whose work helped shape the geometric understanding of mechanics and the rotation of rigid bodies.

His geometric approach makes complex rotational motion easier to visualise, giving a physical picture of how a body moves as it spins.

The name Poinsot Dynamics reflects this connection between mathematical insight and physical motion. FLY-BALL carries that spirit into experimental research in rotational dynamics.
